Mandatory training, CPD and certificates, recorded properly in Codeeo LMS.

Codeeo LMS is a learning management system UK organisations can use to run mandatory training, track continuing professional development and keep certificates in date. It is our own product: a Next.js web platform with a Flutter app for iOS and Android. We configure it around your roles and sites, bring your existing courses across and support it after go live.

Built for
HR and L&D teams, care and health providers, apprenticeship and training providers, and schools across the UK.
Typical timeline
The configuration plan, content to migrate and the order of go live are agreed in discovery and confirmed in writing.
What you own
Your courses, staff training records and certificates are yours; where the platform is hosted is agreed with you.

In short

British employers are asked for training evidence often: by regulators, commissioners, insurers, awarding bodies and their own boards. Codeeo LMS is designed so that evidence is already sitting in one place when the question comes. Records are dated, searchable and tied to each person.

What sits inside Codeeo LMS

Built for training you have to be able to evidence.

In many UK organisations, training evidence is scattered. Statutory and mandatory courses sit with one provider, CPD logs in personal folders, face to face sessions on paper registers and certificates in an inbox. When an inspection, a contract review or an internal audit asks who is up to date, a manager spends days rebuilding the picture.

Codeeo LMS replaces that with one record per person. It works as staff training software for employers and as a course platform for providers who teach other people's staff. As a cloud LMS, UK teams reach it through a browser or the mobile app from any site, and we agree the hosting arrangement with you rather than assuming one. Every course assigned, quiz passed, session attended and certificate issued is dated and stored against the individual, and managers see the people they are responsible for.

Explain your project
  • Course library

Create and organise courses from video, documents, presentations and reading packs. Owners for each subject area, such as health and safety, safeguarding or information governance, maintain their own courses, and older versions remain on record so you can show what a learner completed at the time. Courses can be shared across sites or kept to one service.

Each subject has an owner and a clear version history.

  • Enrolment by role and team

Assign training by job role, team, department or site. A new support worker, a new ward administrator and a new line manager each receive their own set of courses as soon as their account exists, with due dates calculated from their start date. Agency and bank staff can be enrolled into a shorter set that suits their placements.

Induction training starts on day one, automatically.

  • Assessments

Quizzes, end of course exams and written assignments with pass criteria you set. Assignments can be routed to a named assessor or supervisor for marking and feedback, which suits training where competence has to be signed off by someone qualified to judge it. Retake rules are set per course.

    Competence is shown, not assumed.

  • Progress and compliance views

Completion rates, scores and overdue courses by person, team, site or region. Managers can see at a glance which staff are out of date on a mandatory topic, and which modules learners fail most, so content owners know where to improve. Senior leaders get a summary view across regions.

Out of date training is caught early.

  • Certificates and renewal dates

Certificates are issued automatically on a pass, each with the date and course name. Topics that need refreshing get a renewal date, and the platform warns learners and managers as that date approaches, so annual and three yearly refreshers are planned rather than missed. Learners can download their own certificates.

Renewals arrive on time across every site.

  • Face to face and live sessions

Schedule instructor led training, such as moving and handling or first aid practicals, alongside video call workshops. Attendance is recorded against each learner, and a session can count towards the same course as its online theory. Trainers or administrators mark attendance for each session.

Practical and online learning share one record.

  • Learning paths and CPD

Group courses into structured programmes for induction, management development or professional growth. Learners and managers can see progress through each programme, which gives professionals a clear log of the learning they have completed for their CPD. Managers can enrol a whole team into a programme in one step.

Development that is structured and easy to evidence.

  • Reports and reminders

Training dashboards for managers, HR and senior leaders, with deadline tracking and automated notifications. Reports filter by site, team or course and export for board packs, contract reviews or inspections. Reminder timing is set per course, so a fire safety refresher and an annual policy read can follow different schedules.

Evidence ready before anyone asks for it.

  • Mobile learning

The Flutter app puts courses, quizzes and certificates on phones and tablets. Care workers between visits, retail staff on the shop floor and apprentices on placement can learn in short bursts and pick up where they left off on the web. It suits staff without a work computer.

Training fits around shifts and visits.

  • Custom builds and code review

Our team also takes on LMS database design and development, elearning resource management and tracking systems, education app and software development, and LMS code review and testing. If you want a module Codeeo LMS does not yet have, or an independent check of a platform you already run, the same engineers do the work.

One partner for the product and the work around it.

Who it suits

UK organisations where training records really matter.

Codeeo LMS suits UK organisations that must show training, not only deliver it. Four groups come to us most often when they look for LMS software UK teams will actually adopt. Requirements differ by sector and by nation within the UK, so we build to the training matrix your organisation already follows, or help you set one down during discovery, rather than claiming any sector body's approval. If your organisation spans several of these groups, discovery sorts out which needs come first.

01

Care providers and health employers

Care homes, domiciliary care agencies, clinics and NHS suppliers run statutory and mandatory training across many staff, often with high turnover. We configure training matrices by role, refresher cycles for topics such as safeguarding, fire safety and infection prevention, and site dashboards for registered managers who need a current picture of their teams. Bank and agency workers can be tracked alongside permanent staff. Inspection preparation becomes a report, not a project.

Role based matrices and refresher cycles.

02

Apprenticeship and training providers

Providers teaching apprentices or delivering courses for employer clients need cohorts, assessments, live sessions and progress reports per learner. Codeeo LMS groups learners by cohort or employer, records attendance and assessment results, and gives tutors a clear view of who needs support. Any provider specific reporting is scoped as custom work. Employer clients can be given a view of their own apprentices' progress. Tutors can schedule review sessions by video call.

Cohorts, tutors and per learner progress.

03

HR and L&D teams in multi site employers

Retailers, logistics companies, housing associations and professional services firms want one induction for everyone and specialist courses for certain roles. Enrolment rules by site and role make sure each person gets what applies to them, while central teams report across the whole organisation without chasing spreadsheets. Line managers see only their own teams. Courses for specialist roles sit beside the common induction.

One induction, many sites.

04

Schools, colleges and academies

Education settings use Codeeo LMS for staff training, such as safeguarding updates and CPD for teachers, and for courses delivered to students. We set it up around terms, classes and cohorts, with teacher views and parent or student features beyond the standard set scoped in discovery. Training records for supply staff can be kept separately.

Six stages to a Codeeo LMS your teams actually use.

  1. 01DiscoveryBy video call, we map your sites, roles, training matrix, existing providers and the evidence you are asked for. Your data protection lead confirms how personal data should be handled. The scope is written down.
  2. 02ConfigurationRoles, sites, enrolment rules, pass marks, certificate wording, renewal periods and reminder timings are set up to match your training matrix and reporting lines.
  3. 03Content migrationCourses, documents, quizzes and historic completion records are reviewed and imported. We flag anything out of date so your subject owners can refresh or retire it.
  4. 04PilotOne site, service or department starts first. Their feedback on navigation, phone use and course length shapes the settings for everyone else. Success measures for the pilot are agreed first.
  5. 05Go liveRemaining sites join in your chosen order. Administrators and managers are trained by video call, and learners receive their first assignments automatically.
  6. 06Support and improvementWe resolve issues, adjust settings and deliver agreed improvements. Completion data and feedback show what to change next. Support terms are confirmed before go live.

Technology

What we build this with.

Codeeo LMS runs on Next.js for the web, so pages load quickly on older office machines and busy shared networks. The mobile app is written in Flutter, giving iOS and Android users the same experience from a single codebase. Any custom module we add uses the same stack. Administrators run the platform through the web dashboard without writing code.

Questions UK organisations ask about Codeeo LMS.

Clear evidence of who completed what, and when it next needs refreshing.

For most UK employers the test is whether a manager can answer, within minutes, which staff are in date on mandatory topics. That depends on role based enrolment, assessments with pass criteria, dated certificates with renewals and reports by site. Codeeo LMS covers those, with live session attendance and learning paths alongside. Which topics are mandatory for your workforce is set by your sector and your own policies, and we configure the platform to match. Discovery is where we work through your matrix together.
